From St. Johns River launches to Navy moves, beach days, and fall fair season, these are the most common reasons Jacksonville renters book a trailer, and the type that fits each job.

• Boats and watercraft. Tow a boat, jet ski, or kayak with a boat or dual-purpose utility trailer. Jacksonville runs 39 public ramps, most of them free, including the 6-lane Mayport ramp near the inlet. The downtown St. Johns Marina ramp is closed until about 2028, so use the Arlington ramps instead.
• Military moves. Naval Station Mayport, the Navy's third-largest fleet concentration area, plus NAS Jacksonville and Kings Bay just north, keep PCS moves steady. Enclosed and utility trailers handle personally procured moves.
