“Excellent communication and extremely helpful. We had an issue with trailer brakes locking up randomly, isolated it to a wiring fault in the trailer. Mike was not only helping us troubleshoot the issue over the phone, but he was working on plans B *and* C in making sure we would have a trailer for our task, even offering to drive all the way down to southern IL to meet us with a replacement trailer. I cannot speak highly enough about how Mike handled the situation, and showing genuine concern for not only our job but for our wellbeing as well. The trailer appeared well kept and maintained, I cannot fault Mike's maintenance even if we did have a problem. Sometimes things just break and all you can do is manage the situation, and Mike stepped up and knocked it out of the park. I would without hesitation reach out to Mike next time I need a trailer, and I reccomend him to anyone who would listen.”

“Jalen is probably the best person to rent from on this App. He is a reasonable and person and understands things don’t always go to plan. My round trip to Yuma took longer than expected and I returned very late at night upon returning the trailer. I felt bad but Jalen didn’t mind coming out to meet me at around midnight and said it was no problem. “Fantastic experience renting Charlie's enclosed trailer for a round trip from Virginia to the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. The trailer, a nearly new 2026 Stallion 8.5' x 24' — was spotless and beautifully built, and it towed rock-steady behind our F‑250 with our 4,300‑lb 1931 Buick inside, even over the mountains. Charlie was communicative and flexible from the very first message: he worked with us on a pickup time that fit our schedule and made sure someone was at the shop to help us hitch up and look everything over. We couldn't recommend Charlie and this trailer more highly, and we'd rent from him again in a heartbeat.”

Hosts
No, with the towlos Launch plan, there is no fee to list a trailer for rent, and you can begin earning rental income immediately.
Towlos helps you vet your potential guest by requiring them to answer 4 questions. These responses help you understand their prior towing experience, the vehicle they are using to tow your trailer, the cargo and its approximate weight, and the destination and mileage they plan to travel. This information gets emailed to you, along with the rental request notification.
Additionally, you can ask the guest any questions via towlos Chat before accepting the rental.
There are 3 primary ways your trailer is protected:
- The refundable Security Deposit you set per trailer should cover 95% of all incidental damage.
- Liability protection is covered through the guest's insurance policy on their tow vehicle.
- Towlos Protect+ Insurance is completely free for you as a Host - Guests pay for the coverage, but you get the benefits. Protect+ provides up to $35,000 in coverage for trailer damage, professional claims support, and faster resolution when damage occurs. Making your trailer eligible for Protect+ also attracts more confident renters, leading to more bookings. Enabling Protect+ is managed through your individual trailer listings from Host HQ.
Once you accept the return from the Rental Record, your earnings will be directly deposited into your bank account, often within 1-2 business days.
