Once again, this weekend marks one of the most legendary races in motorsports—the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, also known as The Race to the Clouds. And this year, we at towlos are proud to be part of the action as an official sponsor of racer Patrick Culligan.
Meet the Machine: Radical SR8
Patrick will be piloting his Radical SR8—a lightweight, high-powered machine built for pure performance. It features aggressive aerodynamics, a roaring V8, and razor-sharp handling, perfect for the challenge ahead. The 12.42-mile course includes 156 turns and climbs from 9,390 to 14,115 feet in elevation. It tests the endurance of both driver and car with every twist, turn, and steep climb.
A bit of history: The Pikes Peak Hill Climb is one of America’s oldest races, dating back to 1916. Over the years, it has featured everything from Model T Fords to modern electric supercars. Each has pushed the limits of speed, skill, and altitude on the mountain’s demanding climb. What began as a rough, dusty path is now a global motorsports icon.

From Garage to Grid with towlos
Before the tires hit the tarmac, Patrick passed tech inspection and is now fully cleared to race. His Radical SR8 made the trip up to Colorado in style—towed securely by his towlos trailer. We’re stoked to support his journey, from the garage to the start line.
