I’m excited to share with you the thrilling journey of our towlos Race Team at GridLife Midwest Fest held at Gingerman Raceway in June 2024.
Road Trip
Our team embarked on this adventure with two powerful BMWs, #98 driven by Andrew Rains and #89 driven by Steve Pruden. What made this journey even more remarkable is that we drove both race cars on towlos trailers all the way from Birmingham, Alabama to South Haven, Michigan for this epic event.
Despite encountering a setback on the road when we lost a tire on one of the trailers, our team swiftly addressed the issue and resumed our journey, thanks to the teams’ resilience and determination.
The Grid Life Experience
GridLife Midwest Fest is more than just racing; it’s a fusion of music festival, car culture celebration, drifting, and multiple racing events. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a community of like-minded individuals, all united by their passion for racing and cars. The event offered ample opportunities to connect with fellow racers, share stories, and build lasting friendships. The sense of camaraderie and the shared enthusiasm for the sport enriched our experience significantly.
On The Track
Andrew Rains and Steve Pruden took to the track in the towlos-sponsored BMWs, racing in the GLTC Class. We are especially proud to announce that Andrew Rains took home 2nd place in the GLTC Class Race 4 in the 98 towlos BMW! I think you’d really appreciate this In-Car video and the description posted by Andrew Rains on Instagram recently. This remarkable achievement highlights the hard work and dedication of our entire team.
Thank you for being part of our journey. We look forward to sharing more exciting adventures with you in the future!
