How Justin Found Towlos
Justin first discovered towlos through the Trailer Hustle Facebook page while searching for ways to streamline his growing rental business. At the time, he was juggling rental agreements through DocuSign, coordinating back-and-forth with renters, and managing payments manually. It worked, just not efficiently.
That changed quickly.
“When I stumbled across towlos, I immediately signed up,” he shared. “I was amazed at how easy it was to use and how fast it made the rental process. It took away so much of the hassle.”
As towlos expanded its features and introduced host plans with business websites, Justin moved all of his rentals onto the platform. Even though many of his renters come from outside sources, he uses his towlos listing links to direct customers to book online and they love it.
“I get nothing but positive feedback,” he said. “towlos has definitely helped me grow the business more than I ever imagined.”
How JKS Trailer Rentals Got Started
Like many great small businesses, Justin’s story started with a simple observation.
His wife, a realtor, was constantly dragging him along to look at homes for her market research. One thing stood out: in the Phoenix area, many new homes don’t have space to store trailers.
It sparked an idea.
“People still want their toys,” Justin explained. “But why would someone pay $100+ a month to store a trailer they’ll only use a few times a year when they could just rent one for half the price?”
So JKS Trailer Rentals was born.
What started with a single 14′ utility trailer quickly turned into a booming business. That first trailer rented nonstop, so Justin added two more. Now, just a year and a half later, he’s grown to six trailers—five utility trailers and one car hauler. His customers are usually people hauling side-by-sides or ATVs for day trips, weekend rides, cross-country adventures, or big jamborees.
Most of his business has come naturally through word of mouth and Facebook Marketplace, plus the solid network he and his wife have built by meeting renters in person. While they’ve recently started offering contactless rentals, they still love face-to-face interactions.
“We enjoy meeting people,” Justin said. “It makes the process more personal and helps build real relationships.”
And as demand keeps growing, Justin expects the fleet will too.

Meet the Guy Behind the Business
Justin describes himself as a lifelong “trailer guy.” He’s been hauling and working on trailers since he could drive, so running a rental fleet feels completely natural.
He’s hands-on and proud of it. Whether it’s making repairs, doing maintenance in 115-degree heat, or tinkering in the garage on the next upgrade, he loves the work.
“I’m a jack of all trades, master of none,” he joked. “You’ll usually find me in the garage or the backyard working on something.”
Outside of trailers, Justin is a traveler at heart. He’ll hop in his truck without hesitation to tow across the country, sometimes for friends, sometimes for fun. One of his favorite destinations? Tennessee, often with his 5th wheel in tow.
What really drives him, though, are the people.
“I enjoy meeting people and learning about their hobbies and journeys,” he said. “That’s been a huge highlight of the trailer rental business, being able to help people accomplish the things they enjoy.”
