By This month, we’re excited to feature Will Branson, co-owner of North Georgia Trailer Rentals, a thriving trailer rental business serving the Atlanta area. Together, Will and his partner, Zane Maddox, have built something special by combining hard work, community, and a love for trailers.
How It All Started
The story of North Georgia Trailer Rentals began back in 2021 when Zane originally launched the company. For three years, he managed it solo, balancing the business with a full-time job — a lot to handle. But when Zane decided to step away, the rental requests didn’t stop. Meanwhile, Will had trailers for his own business and started letting some of Zane’s former customers rent from him. Seeing the demand and potential, Will reached out to Zane about teaming up to bring the business back — and that’s how the partnership was born.
Juggling Jobs and Trailers
Will and Zane are no strangers to hard work. Outside of running their trailer rental business, they both hold full-time jobs. Zane is a skilled cobbler, repairing shoes in the community, while Will works as a Medicolegal Death Investigator for a major metro-Atlanta county. On top of that, Will also runs his own landscaping company. Talk about wearing multiple hats!
Discovering Towlos
Their journey with towlos started through social media trailer rental groups, where they saw the opportunity to expand their reach and connect with more renters. Towlos has become a key platform for them to manage rentals and grow their fleet.

Life Outside the Trailer
When they’re not running their business or working their day jobs, Will and Zane love spending time outdoors. Family, friends, hunting, fishing, and hitting the lake keep them energized. Will also enjoys playing golf, and both have a knack for hustling on Facebook Marketplace by flipping items. They live by the motto: enjoy life to the fullest.
