You can now sell or rent out extras directly from your trailer listing. That means you’re no longer limited to just renting out your trailer—you can offer straps, hitches, toolkits, or whatever trailer-related gear you want. For example, you could sell a package of tie-down straps for $50, or rent out a hitch for a daily fee. The best part? It’s all built into the booking flow—no extra communication or side payments needed.
But wait, there’s more: you can now also offer trailer-related services to your guests. Think:
- A cleaning fee if they don’t return the trailer spotless
- A dumping fee for utility or dump trailers that come back full
- Or any other trailer service that adds convenience and value
These extras make things easier for guests and help you earn more with every rental. It’s a win-win: a great way for hosts to make additional profit while also helping out their guests.
How to Add Extras to Your Trailer Listing
Here’s how to start offering accessories or services:
- Log into your towlos account
- Head to your Host HQ
- Click on My Fleet
- Select the trailer you want to update and click Edit
- Scroll down until you see the Extras section
- Add the details:
- Upload a photo of the item or service
- Input the quantity available
- Set your own price
- Choose whether it’s for rent, sale, or a service
- Click Save, and it’ll go live on your trailer profile for guests to add on during checkout
Whether it’s helping someone avoid an extra trip to the store or offering a hands-off return with a cleaning service, these new options make the rental experience smoother for everyone—and put more money in your pocket.
