Why We Added The Modify Rental Feature
Before, if plans changed, guests had to cancel their original booking and start all over again with a new one. That wasn’t just inconvenient, it could also risk losing out on the trailer you already had secured.
Our new Modify Rental feature solves that problem by letting guests request changes to their existing booking. Whether you need to extend your rental by a couple of days or adjust dates, it can now all be handled in one simple step.
How It Works
- The guest is the one who initiates the change.
- Once submitted, the host gets a notification to review and approve the update.
- If you’re a guest, you can either:
- Simply hit the Modify Rental button and request your new dates, or
- Chat with your host first to make sure the new timing works and then submit your request.
This keeps everything smooth and ensures both parties are on the same page.
