Tow Hitch Requirements
Renter agrees and confirm that their tow vehicle is equipped with a 2 5/16" tow hitch ball rated for a minimum of 8,000 lbs. Renter understands that a 2" ball will not work. An adjustable height hitch is recommended to ensure proper weight distribution. The coupler clearance to ground should be approximately 14" when attached to the tow vehicle. (Note: We have an adjustable height 2" receiver with a 2 5/16" ball available for rent for a $40 flat rate for all rentals).

Electrical & Brake Requirements
Renter confirm that their tow vehicle has a properly working 7-pin trailer connector AND a trailer brake controller installed inside the vehicle. Renter understands that the trailer’s lights and brakes will not function without both of these components.

4-Pin Connector & Rental Truck Restriction
Renter agrees that they will not be using a vehicle that only has a 4-pin connector, as this does not properly operate electronic trailer brakes. Renter also understands that a 4-pin to 7-pin adapter will NOT work, as it still does not enable the electric trailer brakes. Renter understands that rental trucks (such as those from U-Haul, Home Depot, and similar companies) usually do not have the required 7-pin connectors to tow this trailer.

Cancellation Policy Acknowledgment
Renter agrees that if their tow vehicle arrives on the pickup date and does not satisfy the safety and equipment requirements listed above, they will be considered a "No Show." Renter understands this will result in the cancellation of their rental and will NOT be eligible for any refund (exclusive of any security deposits).
